Mocking Jay

After her rescue by the rebels of District 13, Katniss was convinced to become "the Mockingjay". The Mockingjay is a symbol of rebellion towards the capitol. As a part of the Mockingjay deal she wants to be the one to kill President Snow. After Katniss saw that Peeta was captured she wanted to rescue him immediately  After the rescue, they found out Peeta has been brainwashed into believing Katniss is the enemy. Thought the book Katniss shows bravery and wisdom.

Science Lab

  We learned in science lab about oils on birds. We took on the challenge of cleaning a feather with different materials. I found out that Epson salts work really well, but i also found out baking soda did not. This could relate to real life because birds get covered in oil, and we have to clean the whole body or else they will die. That is what we learned in Si lab.

Computer Lab

Computer Lab was interesting. Mr.Jost had us watch a video about a mini computer. Its name "raspberry pi". What it is a mini computer that fits in your hand. Ann you have to do is connect the cables to the monitor and you would have a computer that fits in your hand. Mr.Jost tried to get one but they were so popular that they sold out of 10,000 in 3 hours so he was late. that was a interesting thing I learned in Computer Lab.  

Catching Fire

  After Katnis rebelled against the Capitol by getting both Petta and her out of the 74 hunger games alive. The book is action. The Quarter quell is coming up this year and 2 members from each district that are previous winners go as tribute. Petta and Katniss have to learn to adapt quickly in this totally different arena. Doing this they both show love and courage.
